Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically supported, training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding. Self-compassion can be learned by anyone.
This retreat focuses on facilitating a courageous attitude that stands up to harm, including the harm that we unwittingly inflict on ourselves through self-criticism, self-isolation, or self-absorption. Self-compassion provides emotional strength and resiliency as we learn to motivate ourselves with kindness and forgiveness, express ourselves more authentically and relate wholeheartedly to others. Rapidly expanding research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, less anxiety, depression and stress, and maintenance of healthy habits and satisfying personal relationships. And it’s easier than you think.

FRIDAY:

Gentle Yoga: 4:15 to 5:15 PM
Dinner and Free Time: 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Evening Immersion #3: 7:00 to 9:00 PM
SATURDAY:
Tea, coffee and fruit: 7:30 to 8:00 AM
Meditation and Gentle Yoga: 8:00 to 9:00 AM
Breakfast: 9:00 to 10:00 AM
Immersion #4: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Lunch and Free Time: 12:00 to 2:00 PM
Afternoon Immersion #5: 2:30 to 4:30 PM
Restorative Yoga: 4:30 to 5:15 PM
Dinner and Free Time: 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Evening Immersion #6: 7:00 to 9:00 PM
SUNDAY:
